The Foreign Trade of China
The table shows China import and export situation. The amount of imports and exports incresed steadily from 1950 to 1985. The amount of imports is greater than the exports.
The foreign trade amount in 1985 was fifty times as much as in 1950. The export. amount in 1985 was forty times than it of 1950. The import amount in 1985 was 125, 730 million yuan, an increase of sixty fold over 1950. The import amount bad been about the same as the export amount until 1981. In 1983 we had an export surplus of 1700 million yuan, But the trade deficit in 1985 amounted to 44,850 million yuan.
The rapid growth of the amount of import and export owes much to the open door policy. Steps should be taken to increase the export amount.

圖表說明中國的進(jìn)出口狀況，從1950年至1985年，進(jìn)口量和出口量迅速增長。進(jìn)口額大于山口額。
1985年外貿(mào)總額是1950年的50倍。1985年的出口額是1950年的`40倍。1985年進(jìn)口額是1257．3億元，比1950年增長了60倍。1981年進(jìn)出口額大體相等，1983年出現(xiàn)貿(mào)易逆差17億元。但是在1985年貿(mào)易赤字達(dá)到了448億元。
出口和進(jìn)口額的快速增長是開放政策帶來的。應(yīng)當(dāng)采取措施增加出口額。
