It is important for you to learn some knowledge about first aid in your daily life. If a person has an accident, he needs medical care before a doctor can be found. When you give first aid, you must pay attention to three things. First, when a person stops breathing, open his/her mouth and see if there is food at the bulk of his/her mouth. Second, if a person cannot breathe, do you best to start his/her breathing at once, using a mouth to mouth way. Third, if a person is hurt badly, try at once to stop the bleeding. Then take him/her to a doctor. If a person loses one third of his/her blood, he/she may die.
Many accidents may happen at home. All parents should know first aid in order to deal with common injuries which may happen to their children. When a person is bitten by an animai, wash the wound with cold running water before he/she is taken to see a doctor. When a person is burnt, wash and cool the area of the skin under the cold tap for a while. Then put a piece of dry clean cloth over the burn. If the person is badly burnt, take him/her to the doctor. If a person cuts his/her finger, clean it and put a piece of paper round the cut. Every body should know some first aid in order to save othe people's lives.

As she is also a little plump, she gives people the impression that she is a patient, responsible and easygoing teacher. This picture of my teacher is true. She devotes herself to the cause of education. She prepares and organizes her lessons so well that we are fully attentive in her class. After class she often gives lessons to the students who have been absent from school because of illness. With her help we have become more and more interested in our English study. Whenever we have problems we will turn to her for help. As a matter of fact, she is more an intimate friend to us than a respected teacher. We have learnt a great deal from her devotion to her work, her conscientiousness in teaching, and her readiness to help others.

Ihave reason to support my view, dog are human’s best friend, we should not eatour friend. Dogs are kept as a guard for family, and most families treat thedog as a family member, especially in the foreign family. While in Yulin,Guangxi province, there is a dog meat festival that held every year. When itcomes to this festival, thousands of dogs were killed in the street fortourists to eat. That is a very bloody, cruel behavior. Unfortunately, thesource of dog meat is usually illegal, which most comes from some one’s pet dogor the guard dog of village. Bad people would catch the dog that wondering inthe street or village, if they want more, they will poison them, then theycould catch them in a much easy way.

In most schools and colleges the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.
The most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits. As the examination score is the only criterion for his academic performance, a student is driven to memorize mechanically rather than to think creatively. Examinations do not motivate a student to seek more knowledge, but to restrict his reading; they do not enable him to study consistently throughout the semester, but to induce cramming during exam week. Examinations also lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers themselves are often judged by examination results, they are often judged by examination results, they are reduced to training their students in exam techniques. And no subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations.
Actually, few of us admit that examinations can contribute anything really important to the students' academic development. If that's the case, why can't we make a change and devise something more efficient and reliable than examinations?
