　　The success is more and more important accompanying the competition is more and more severe; therefore youngsters take on so much pressure in the society。 Some people think that they can’t be successful just because they don’t want to try for what should be said as inferiority。 Life is like a chocolate box; you never know what’s in it when you open it。

　　Thinking from another side， success for one person is not always success for another， so each young person should make sure that they are striving to accomplish their life’s work through avenues that they are most interested in。 Every person who is successful， in the past， has had an inner drive that sustained him or her through the tough times of his or her life’s work。 Success will come to those who will forge out in life with an optimistic viewpoint， doing what they were created to do， and enjoying the fruit of their labor。

　　Every one of us has possesses a skill that is valuable。 What we have to do is updating our knowledge and exploiting our idea， bringing it into effect。 Now， go out and do it。

　　Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.

　　Actually I like swimming think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has ended I went swimming many times with my classmates we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were a year away.

　　In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work play during the summer vacation derived benefit from this arrangement.

　　Laziness(懶惰)

　　Laziness is a sin. everyone knows that. We have probably all had lectures pointing out that lazi-

　　ness is immoral, that it is wasteful,and that lazy people will never amount to anything in life.

　　But laziness can be more harmful than that, and it is often caused by more complex reasons than the simple wish to avoid work. Some people who appear to be lazy are suffering from much more

　　serious problems. They may be so distrustful of their fellow workers that they are unable to join in any group task for fear of being laughed at or fear of having their ideas stolen. These people who seem lazy may be deadened by a fear of failure that prevents fruitful work. Or other sorts of fantasies may prevent work: some people are so busy planning, sometimes planning great deals of fantastic achievements, that they are unable to deal with whatever ” lesser ” work is on hand. Still other people are not avoiding work, strictly speaking; they are nearly procrastinating—rescheduling their day.

　　Laziness can actually be helpful. Like procrastinators,some people look lazy when they are really thinking, planning, researching. We should all remember that some great scientific discoveries occurred by chance. Newton wasn’t working in the orchard when the apple hit him and he devised the theory of gravity. Taking a rest can be particularly helpful to the athlete who is trying too hard or the doctor who’s simply working himself overtime too many evenings at the clinic.

　　So be careful when you’ re tempted to call someone lazy.That person may be thinking, resting or planning his or her next book.

　　Laziness(懶惰)

　　As human beings, there has always existed a tendency to by lazy. Everybody knows the story about the lazy ant who starved during winter, but still there are those that do not want to spare the effort. People desire things and are unwilling to spare the effort. The laziness is so rampant in our society, it is time to put a stop to it. As students, we should start by refraining from being lazy ourselves. Laziness never achieves anything great, it is through real effort and determination that great deeds are accomplished. We can train ourselves to be diligent in our studies and work, set ahieveable goals and strive to attain them. Society cannot progress if everyone was lazy. I’m sure great scientists did not discover new things by being lazy. So as stars of the future, we should not let laziness take over, we should rather take control of our own lives and make a positive difference in this world.

　　Network is a double-edged sword. We can make use of it to keep up to times, or relax ourselves. But all of us aren't supposed to sacrifice the time which should be otherwise spent together with our family due to the addiction to network. Anyhow, family is above anything and we should value it a lot.
