      寵物英語(yǔ)作文 篇1

There are many advantages to having a pet. For example, taking care of a pet can teach people responsibility, which is new to many university students. In addition, pets can keep people company and are well-known for making people happy.

While there are many reasons for having a pet, keeping one illegally in the dorms can be problematic. First of all, some students may be allergic to pets. Secondly, some dorm mates may not care for the way the pet smells. Thirdly, many pets are loud and may disturb the other residents in your dorm or hall.

For many universities, students keeping pets in the dormitories is against the rules. Despite this, some students choose to have a pet at university. However, I don't believe that it's a good idea to keep a pet in the dormitories.

Everyday, they play with each other happily. One day, I couldn’t find them. I asked my mother: ”Where are they? ” My mother told me that She didn’t know. At last, I found them in the grass. They were very dirty. I was angry, but when I looked at their lovely faces, I was happy again.

        我愛(ài)我的小兔子,它們也愛(ài)我。它們是我永遠(yuǎn)的好朋友。

      寵物英語(yǔ)作文 篇3

Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition on the topic Keeping Pets. You should write at least 150 words and you should base your composition on the outline below:

        Keeping Pets

There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do. They believe that pets, like cats and dogs, can help relieve the loneliness suffered by senior citizens and other social members who are confined to their homes for this reason or that. They also argue that keeping pets helps mankind understand animals’ world and develop positive feelings toward them.

Others, however, hold the opposite view. They regard keeping pets as a useless but harmful thing to do. First, pets can transmit diseases. Secondly, the noises and dung of pets are sources of pollution. Last but not least, as many rare birds and animals are kept as pets, they will surely be hunted on a large scale, which means a threat to the balance of the ecosystem.

Weighing the arguments of both sides, I am inclined to agree with the latter. Anyway, we can lessen our loneliness and express our love toward animals in other ways. And it is my belief that only by placing man and other species on an equal basis can we expect to have a lively and colorful world.

      寵物英語(yǔ)作文 篇4

Animal are our loyal(忠誠(chéng)的) friends. Moreover, most people like them. So you can often see some people keeping animals, like a dog, cat, rabbit, turtle and fish, is common(普遍的). They are gentle(溫柔的), kind and lovely.

Before, I had two squirrels(松鼠). But half a month, they both died. To this end, I feel very ashamed(慚愧的) and sad.

Later, I checked some information about a squirrel: it generally eat grain(谷物); must drink boiled(煮開(kāi)過(guò)的) water; do not eat cooked(煮熟的) food. If I am careful, care for them closely(密切地), the two lives will not disappear.

So, I hope everyone in the process of(在過(guò)程中) raising (飼養(yǎng))animals, please treat better to them. Because they aren’t our dolls, but our loyal friends, always !
