The past few years have witnessed a mounting number of college students playing truant. Taking a look around, one can find examples too many to enumerate. Sometimes, even less than half of the students in a class attend the lecture..
A number of factors may be responsible for this phenomenon. Personally, I can come up with the following ones. In the first place, there exist faults with the arrangement of curriculum. In other words, some courses are irrelevant, or far beyond or below students. In the second place, some teachers are responsible for the phenomenon. Their teaching is far from attractive or efficient. Lastly, there exist reasons on the part of students, many of whom have become restless under the influence of some social trends.
This phenomenon is definitely unhealthy and requires remedying. Naturally, measures should be taken in the three aspects mentioned above. For one thing, it is imperative that the school perfect its arrangement of courses. For another, teachers should be constantly urged to improve their work. Last but not least, students should be warned against some vicious trends in society and concentrate on their study. Only with these measures taken can we expect a solution of the problem.

一、評(píng)分強(qiáng)調(diào)一致性
大學(xué)英語四、六級(jí)考試的作文部分不是自由作文，而是有規(guī)定命題的作文。對(duì)考生寫什么內(nèi)容有比較明確的要求，用各種明確的方式如提綱、圖表、關(guān)鍵詞等加以限制，但提綱常用中文給出，以避免考生將提綱中的文字直接抄錄進(jìn)作文。采用有控制的.作文也有利于提高評(píng)分的一致性。
對(duì)作文評(píng)分影響最大的是評(píng)分過程。同一篇作文，不同的閱卷員可能給出不同的分?jǐn)?shù)。只有保證評(píng)分的一致性，才能提高作文閱卷的信度。這個(gè)一致性包括閱卷員本人的一致性、閱卷員之間的一致性和閱卷點(diǎn)之間的一致性，要采取一定的質(zhì)量控制措施，盡量減少和濾除閱卷員評(píng)分的主觀性對(duì)分?jǐn)?shù)客觀性的影響。
二、作文題的評(píng)分通常有兩種方法
一種是綜合法，一種是分析法。分析法是把一篇作文分解為若干要點(diǎn)，如內(nèi)容、結(jié)構(gòu)、文章連貫性、語法、詞匯等，不同的要點(diǎn)也可作不同的加權(quán)處理，各要點(diǎn)得分的總和即為全篇得分。綜合法是憑閱卷員通讀一遍的總體印象打分。綜合法的優(yōu)點(diǎn)是能從總體上把握全文，評(píng)卷速度比較快，效率高。
此外，為了提高閱卷的信度也有采用“兩讀”的方法，即每篇作文由兩名閱卷員各自獨(dú)立評(píng)分，若分?jǐn)?shù)差兩檔以上，由第三名閱卷員重判。考慮到大學(xué)英語四、六級(jí)考試規(guī)模太大，不可能進(jìn)行兩讀，因此，通常采用綜合法和“一讀”的評(píng)址椒ǎ然后根據(jù)考生的客觀題得分進(jìn)行調(diào)整，盡量減少系統(tǒng)誤差?

More and more college students， in recent years， are finding it difficult to find jobs。 This may sound strange since college students used to be the "most favored" people in society。 They have received a higher education， hence they are more intelligent， knowledgeable than their counterparts who failed to attend college。 But chances are that some of themcan hardly find jobs after graduating from colleges。
There are two reasons that account for this strange phenomenon。 One is that some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them。 They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions， salary， and so on。 Therefore， they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them。 Another reason is that the majors some students pursue do not match with the demands of the job market。 As a result， they canonly sit and miss opportunities。
