　　The place I want to visit is Beijing. It is the capital of China and it is a city full of cultural heritages and varieties. As we all know there are many famous scenic attractions in Beijing, for example, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden city and the showpiece stadiums of the Olympics--the Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

　　I’d like to spend four days in Beijing. In the first day, I’m going to visit the Great Wall—one of the eight wonders in the world. The second day I’ll go to the Forbidden City to see how life was like in the royal family. The third is saved for the visit to those modern constructions -- the Bird's Nest and Water Cube, which remind me of the success of our Chinese athletes in the Olympics. The last day I’ll go shopping in Beijing to buy some gifts for my family and friends.

　　第一個任務(wù)就是自我介紹。天哪我連最簡單的寫作，寫短短的一片英語作文都不會，還叫我寫自我介紹，這不是比登天還難嗎?我只好硬著頭皮自己寫一點，網(wǎng)上翻譯一點，東拼西湊出一篇文章。之后，我便嘗試著一點一點的背誦�？砷_頭就把我給難住了：小學(xué)的英文叫做“elementary school”這么長的英語單詞可怎么讀呀!我又是問老師又是查電腦，終于把它克服了!之后，我又是準(zhǔn)備十篇文章，又是讀書本上的英語小短文，所有的一切都準(zhǔn)備好了，就只差東風(fēng)了!

　　12月11日，我懷著忐忑不安的心情出發(fā)了。很快，我們就到達(dá)了目的地。在準(zhǔn)備的報告廳里，人聲鼎沸，一會兒從東面?zhèn)鱽怼癏ello,every one.”一會兒西面又高呼 “My name is…”。這使我這顆本來就沒做好準(zhǔn)備的心怦怦直跳。在準(zhǔn)備的過程中，我心不在焉，一心只注視著別人的一舉一動。終于輪到我了，在比賽室外的那一分鐘等待，可把我折磨透了。一會兒傳來比賽者清脆的聲音，一會兒又聽見評委老師的竊竊私語。但是，當(dāng)我一步入比賽現(xiàn)場，我倒不那么緊張了，從剛開始的自我介紹聲音顫抖不一，到最后的流利平穩(wěn)，似乎在這短短的七八分鐘里有了翻天覆地的變化。終于我的比賽結(jié)束了。

　　從小屋里走出來的一瞬間，我真的長舒了一口氣。不管結(jié)果怎么樣，這都不是最重要的，不管有沒有晉級，這都是對我英語水平的鍛煉，是對我的肯定。我一定會繼續(xù)努力的!

　　There are lots of people in a society who may be grouped as the rich and the poor. As far as a human being is concerned, he should go to work just to make a living. But very often we see in the streets many beggars who label themselves as poor people, people who are in need of money .they beg whoever passes them for money. To the best of my knowledge,they are not really or truly poor people. Most of them are just too lazy to work. To those "poor" people,the government shouldn't and don't donate any money at all. But when a disaster happens,some people suudenly become poor without any money. In this respect,it is the duty of the government to provide as much money as possible to restore those people to a normal life.When it comes to a people's government,money donation to the poor is a must.
