The Spring Festival is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation, which is to say goodbye to the old year and greet the festive days of the New Year. The most important thing for the Chinese New Year is to get together with family for a New Year's eve dinner, dumplings at the table, and fireworks for the naughty children. But one of the children's favorite parts is to get lucky money from their elders.
Our family dinner is usually eaten away from home, because she is the oldest person in the family, and because she is the best cook. On New Year's eve, my brother and sister, I went to my grandmother's house to prepare for the Spring Festival together with her. We bought red paper with my grandmother home, cut a lot of window with "f" word, and then, we are in charge of them pasted on doors, Windows, walls, and on the big red envelopes, indescribably happy! Not only these, grandma's prepared food can make people drool too!
It's time for dinner. We took turns to serve our grandmother with a plate of delicious dishes. Chicken, duck, fish, sausage, the state of the specialty of the three fresh, and grandma's hand-made "fragrant 10 li, notorious" stinky tofu, we love to eat. When everyone arrived, grandma announced the meal.
After eating the New Year's eve dinner, grandma took out three packets of red envelopes of the same size from the pocket of the New Year's clothes and handed them to me and my brother and sister. 升入三年級，我們新開設(shè)了一門課程是英語。
第一次上課時的情景讓我記憶猶新。課前，我和我的同學(xué)們一起討論“英語課學(xué)什么內(nèi)容呢？”話音剛落，鈴聲就響了。我們迅速座好等待英語老師的到來，老師一進(jìn)門，我就覺得教室里的氣氛和往常不同，靜得連一根針掉下去的聲音都聽得見。是因為第一次上英語課嗎？
我們的英語老師有一頭烏黑亮麗的頭發(fā)，眼睛大大的，個子不高也不矮，但是整個人卻很有精神。她教我們學(xué)的第一個詞是“ms 劉”，有很多同學(xué)都不知道什么意思，老師馬上翻譯過來跟我們說“這個詞的意思是劉女士或是劉老師”。隨后英語老師就開始講述第一節(jié)英語課。
她先給我們講了講英語單詞，但是我聽的一頭霧水，整節(jié)課也是云里霧里的，什么都沒聽懂。放學(xué)后我?guī)е⒄Z課本來到校門口等待媽媽來接我回家，媽媽來到校門口笑著說：“你怎么帶著英語課本�。俊薄拔覜]有聽懂老師講的英語�！眲傉f完我的眼淚就在眼眶里打轉(zhuǎn)。
回到家媽媽給我打開錄音讓我跟著讀，可還是沒有聽懂。然后就著急得趴在桌子上哭了起來。媽媽跟我說：“別著急，等你哥哥放學(xué)回來教教你�！痹捯魟偮涓绺绫愦蜷_門大叫一聲：“我回來了！”把我逗得笑了起來。哥哥看我臉上還掛著淚珠，便問我怎么回事，我跟哥哥說了原因之后哥哥跟我說：“沒事，走，我教你去！”然后我就跟著哥哥來到我的房間開始教我英語。
哥哥一邊開著玩笑一邊鼓勵并教我學(xué)習(xí)英語，這讓我覺得英語沒有那么枯燥無味，使我對它充滿了興趣。經(jīng)過哥哥的耐心指導(dǎo)讓我學(xué)會了老師之前所講的'那些內(nèi)容并且預(yù)習(xí)了后面一個單元，這使我覺的英語并沒有想象中的那么難。
哥哥對我的鼓勵，讓我信心倍增，從那時起我就更努力地，上課專心的聽講，課后細(xì)心的做練習(xí)、聽錄音，所以現(xiàn)在的英語還挺不錯的呢。
