Have you ever imagined a world without trees? Try it, and you will see the whole world dry up and look like a broken tortoise shell. At night, the temperature would drop sharply. Living creatures could not run away and it would be as if they lived in hell.
There are some effective steps we can take now to protect trees. First, strict laws must be enforced. Second, the government should offer subsidies to people who plant trees.
Most important of all, every citizen must develop an awareness of the importance of trees and remember: no trees means no living things.

I like the holidy so much. I look forward to holiday every year. Last summer, I went to Shen zhen for my holiday, which is also a city of seashore like Haikou. I enjoyed having a walk along the beach after supper or having a swim in the afternoon. The sky is blue, the air is fersh. Wherever you go, You can always see the green trees, the neat grasses and the colourful flowers. They were really wonderful. Shen Zhen has a lot of tall buildings. And it is a modern city. I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. Sometimes we may have a match against some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game. If you ask me what my favourite summer holiday will be like, traveling aound the only answer. I hope that one day I could meet different people and vist different places of interest. I wish I could have two long holidays in a year, what about you?

上課鈴一響，有同學(xué)心不甘情不愿地回到教室，有同學(xué)抱怨到：“��！又是英語(yǔ)課��？”回到教室，我們便趴在桌子上靜靜地等老師。其實(shí)老師已經(jīng)站在門口了，有同學(xué)還在說(shuō)話呢！老師的到來(lái)，也意味著開(kāi)始上課了。
毛老師說(shuō)，在上課之前先做一個(gè)小游戲。話音剛落，那些不情愿的同學(xué)一下子歡呼起來(lái)。老師讓同學(xué)們安靜下來(lái)，然后說(shuō)了游戲規(guī)則：老師給每個(gè)小組取個(gè)“名字，”老師喊到哪一小組“的名字”，如有哪位同學(xué)是那組最后一個(gè)站起來(lái)的話，就要接受懲罰--上臺(tái)表演節(jié)目。同學(xué)們聽(tīng)完毛老師的話既興奮又緊張，生怕自己會(huì)接受懲罰。
輪到第一組的時(shí)候，只有兩位同學(xué)是最后站起來(lái)的，那就是董銳宇和蔡俊輝，他們倆一聽(tīng)見(jiàn)要表演節(jié)目，都“啊……”地叫了起來(lái)，那個(gè)表情真是哭笑不得。他表演的是搞笑段子，董銳宇表演的是他當(dāng)?shù)氖且幻痪拈L(zhǎng)官被他活活氣死，他做起事來(lái)那個(gè)叫笨的，逗得我們哈哈大笑。蔡俊輝表演的內(nèi)容是他自己被一只蚊子弄得團(tuán)團(tuán)轉(zhuǎn)，有的同學(xué)面無(wú)表情，有的同學(xué)已被他逗得前俯后仰了。一節(jié)英語(yǔ)課就這樣過(guò)去了一大半。

記得有一次寫一號(hào)本作業(yè)，我寫得很認(rèn)真，又讓媽媽來(lái)回幫我檢查了幾遍，覺(jué)得胸有成竹，沒(méi)有什么錯(cuò)了，于是第二天滿懷信心地把作業(yè)本交給了楊老師。只見(jiàn)楊老師拿著紅筆，一行一個(gè)勾，中間幾乎沒(méi)有什么停頓，我想：楊老師改作業(yè)可真快呀！這時(shí)，楊老師突然停住了筆，我想：哎呀，是不是什么地方有錯(cuò)了，但不會(huì)呀，我和媽媽昨天明明查了好幾遍，不應(yīng)該有錯(cuò)呀！只見(jiàn)楊老師在一個(gè)單詞上畫了一個(gè)圈，然后把本子遞給我說(shuō)：“嗯，不錯(cuò)，只錯(cuò)了一個(gè)，有進(jìn)步！”我拿回本子，然后對(duì)著書一看，哎呀，兩個(gè)字母顛倒了，真錯(cuò)了，楊老師的“火眼金睛”可真厲害！
還有一次，周三下午放學(xué)后，因我的《評(píng)價(jià)手冊(cè)》沒(méi)寫完，被楊老師叫到了辦公室，我找了一個(gè)位置坐下來(lái)繼續(xù)寫，楊老師在一旁批改作業(yè)，辦公桌上堆了滿滿高高的作業(yè)本，我不禁贊嘆，楊老師的工作量可真大呀！于是我更加認(rèn)真地寫起來(lái)，不想給她添麻煩。當(dāng)我把本子交上去，還有一題不小心寫錯(cuò)了，楊老師就耐心、仔細(xì)地給我講解，一會(huì)兒我就全懂了。
楊老師就是這樣一位認(rèn)真、仔細(xì)、耐心而和藹的老師，我真敬佩她！
