It also has another disadvantage——the communication problem .Since teachers are strict, we never tell teachers our personal affairs or secrets. Mostly we just tell them to our friends, but as students too, they couldn’t help to solve our problem, such as puppy love, communication problems or study problems .Not being solved completely, they always disturb us, influencing our daily life and study. I’m sure that you think that making friends with teachers can solve the problem, and you are eager to do so as well. But if we do so, new problems will come out .You see, an adult couldn't control himself well at times, let alone us students. However if teachers are our friends, I doubt whether their orders will take effect any more .You see, have we ever treated our friends’ orders as orders? We think they’re only jokes. This is another difficulty for teachers.

Additionally, our parents have the same problem. Yes, we need to be friends, but not complete friends. We need to keep a certain distance, making us communicate well and willing to take your orders. I remember a story.

One day, a lady had her rest room decorated. And a skilled worker was bricking up the wall. Seeing large cracks between the bricks, she questioned why. The worker told her after this summer, the bricks would become bigger, and those cracks would disappear.

when the vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. he was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. the father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

about a month later, just before christmas, there was a knock at the door. a young man stood there with a large package in his hands. he said "sir, you don't

know me, but i am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. he saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the

heart and he died instantly. he often talked about you and your love for art.’’ the young man held out his package. "i know this isn't much. i'm really not a great artist, but i think your son would have wanted you to have this." the father opened the package. it was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man.

he stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. the father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes swelled up

with tears. he thanks the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. "oh no, sir, i could never repay what you son did for me. it's a gift.

the father hung the portrait over his mantle. every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

the man died a few months later. there was to be a great auction of his great works of art. many people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and

having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection. on the platform sat the portrait of his son. the auctioneer pounded his gavel, "we will start with this portrait of the son. who will bid for this picture?

there was silence. then a ! voice in the back of the room shouted "we want to see the famous paintings. skip this one."

but the auctioneer persisted, "will someone bid for this painting? who will start the bidding? $100, $200?"

another voice shouted angrily, "we didn't come here to see this painting. we came to see the van gohs, the rembrandts. get on with the real bids".

but still the auctioneer continued, "the son! the son! who will take the son?" finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. it was the longtime

gardener of the man and his son. "i'll give you $10 for the painting." being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

"we have $10, who will bid $20??"

"give it to him for $10. let's see the masters”

"$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?"

the crowd was becoming angry. they didn't want the picture of the son. they wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

the auctioneer pounded his gavel. "going once, twice, sold for $10!"

a man sitting in the second row shouted, "now let's get on with the collection!

the auctioneer laid down his gavel "i'm sorry, the auction is over”

        "what about the paintings?"

"i'm sorry, when i was called to conduct this auction, i was told of a secret stipulation in the will. i was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this

time. only the painting of the son would be auctioned. whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings. the man who took the son, gets everything!"

god gave his son 20xx years ago to die on the cruel cross. much like the auctioneer, his message today is "the son, the son, who'll take the son?" because, you see, whoever takes the son gets everything.

Though we are told that alcohol is dangerous, especially driving a car after drinking alcohol, we can see the news about car accidents because of the driver drinking alcohol everyday, still people ignore the danger of drinking alcohol. Life is precious, no one will take responsibility of our lives except ourselves. Drinking too much will do harm to our body, even if you don’t cherish your life, while when you drive the car after drinking, you will take away other people’s lives. That is unforgivable, people have a happy family, they die because of your careless driving, and you will never have a chance to make up. Our government is very strict to the driver, the law clearly claims that drinking driver will be heavily punished. In order to make sure other people’s safety, we should not drive the car after drinking alcohol, or we ask friends to take us home.

Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what's next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station:so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite,so long are you young.

An individual human existence should be like a river—small at first, narrowly contained within its banks, and rushing passionately past boulders and over waterfalls.Gradually the river grows wider, the banks recede, the waters flow more quietly, and in the end, without any visible break, they become merged in the sea,and painlessly lose their individual being.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity,of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than a boy of twenty.Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.Worry,fear,self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

        My View on Hobby

Everybody has his own hobby. Hobbies not only make our life colorful, but also bring us lots of benefits. Hobbies help us to relax after a long period of hard work, and offer various activities for the people who are retiring. As to my mother, her hobby is to go square dancing after supper. She said, square dancing can make her forget her own problems and stay in good health. As to my father, his hobby is watching football games on TV. Among all my hobbies, the favorite one is reading. When I was a little girl, I love reading comic books. When I m getting old, I love fiction very much. I have so much fun from reading them. My favorite fiction is Pride and Prejudice. It not only provides knowledge, but also teaches us the right attitude toward life. I think reading makes my life complete. I will keep on reading. That s my favorite hobby.

We have recently held a class meeting to discuss the pressure upon everyone of us Senior Three students. At the meeting everyone expressed their own opinions on how to get relieved from pressure.

Pressure comes from all around: from the heavy load of learning, from the fierce competition, from teachers, and from parents. Pressure may affect our studies if there’s too much of it. However, if taken positively, a certain amount of pressure may help push us ahead.

Whenever I find there’s too much pressure, I choose to work out or listen to some light music, which seems to be quite effective. There are many approaches to getting oneself relieved when pressure accumulates. I strongly recommend that when you feel much too stressed, you stop whatever you are doing, get out into the open, take a deep breath, and start thinking of something positive.
